Dedication to infrastructure
Indonesia's potential is indisputable and the country is poised to play an ever-increasing role in the Region/world. However, the dreams may be clouded if its infrastructure is not sufficently developed. To develop, every nation needs energy and Indonesia needs a comprehensive policy that not only addresses the subsidies but, more importantly, also accelerates the developments of fossil and renewable energy sources. Indonesia has the potential to be world leader in several fields here. When it comes to concentrate facilities such as ports, airports, rail, roads, public transport, communication and other supply lines such as electricity grid, water distribution, etc., Indonesia has hit the ceiling already and can't press GDP growth much above 6% unless significant improvements are done. We all know these facts and few dispute this; the million dollar question is : HOW do we all get together and ensure things happen on the ground?
