Identifying the strategy to reduce queuing of trucks during peak hour operation in Belawan International Container Terminal

Belawan International Container Terminal especially serves export and import container by activities loading, discharge, receiving, delivery and behandle. These terminal in the main entrance gate container to North Sumatera, Aceh and most Riau.
Recently, the terminal face the queue of trucks at peak time operation. These condition reduce terminal's level of service.
This paper will evaluate and analyze the internal capability. The external, such as the custom already open 24 hours. To reduce the operational cost, our customers do not open their container warehouses in 24 hours operation. According to our customers to change day operation to give the competitive cost to the cargo owner. The advisable business strategy is a company concept to execute, which is able to fulfill the customer's demand through improving service quality and increase the benefit.
