Effect of implementation new incentive model to improve company productivity : a case study in Koja container terminal
In the golablization era where competition is increasing, many companies fail to achieve its objectives due to lack of ability to manage and motivate their employees, resulting in low effeciency and reduced levels of productivity.
In the port services industry, human resources are a major factor in achieving corporate goals. One important aspect in managing human resources in order to increase employee motivation is the incentive management.
This dissertation attempts to evaluate the effect of the implementation of new model incentive in TPK Koja compared with the old model in relation to the improvement of the company's performance.
Evaluation is done by comparing production of throughput before and after the implementation of incentive models and statistical hypothesis testing is done using t-Test (two sample paired test). The results obtained are the implementation of the new model intencive can improved company performance (production of troughput) significancy.
