Analisa Konsep Trans -maluku sebagai pola jaringan transportasi laut di provinsi maluku
Molluca as an archipelagic province is facing problems of inter-connection of islands dispersed efficiently and effectively for people mobility and economical activities. This paper discusses the networking study of sea transport services around the area of Molluca. The study analyses the implementation of Trans-Maluku concept for various routes and nodes in Molluca. A typical cargo and passenger flows are concerned including the planning of calculating and evaluating number ships operated in Molluca by employing gravity model. The operational and technical networking data – that is used in this study – have been collected from field survey in 2004-2005. The result showed that the typical availability new system in the perspective of Trans-Maluku may decrease the total round (voyage) time from 145 days to 117 days which connects the north and south nodes of Molluca
