Convalt To Build Two Laos Solar Parks

Convalt Energy plans to develop two solar parks in the Bolikhamsai and Attapeu provinces of Laos. The photovoltaic projects will have a combined capacity of 300MW. Convalt spent more than LAK3.3trn (USD397,000) to carry out a feasibility study for the projects. The firm signed a memorandum of understanding with the Union Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Khamlien Pholsena for the implementation of the solar parks. Construction is slated to take two years to complete (RenewablesNow).
