Government Allocates USD30.72bn To Infrastructure Development
The government of Indonesia allocated USD30.72bn to fund infrastructure in the country as part of its 2018 budget. The amount will be divided between the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Ministry of Transportation. The allocation includes construction of 856km of roads, 25km of toll roads and bridges. It also involves maintenance and improvements to 46,000km of national roads. The infrastructure development is expected to boost economic growth over 2018, according to World Highways.
