Pusri-Muntok Gas Pipeline Tender Launched
Indonesia's regulatory agency for downstream oil and gas Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH MIGAS) launched a tender to develop the IDR1.2trn (USD89.6mn) Pusri-Muntok gas transmission pipeline. Interested bidders have to submit a feasibility study and front-end engineering design plans for the pipeline which will link South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. 'A bidder can also bring some input into the process,' said BPH MIGAS Head M Fanshurullah Asa (Jakarta Post). The project is designed to extend the Grissik-Pusri pipeline developed by local firm Pertamina Gas. The Grissik-Pusri pipeline will extend 176km and will be able to transmit 160mn standard cubic feet per day of gas, supplied by ConocoPhillips Indonesia.
