The Indones ian government is believed to be making s ome inroads to deal with its logistics issues . The country's four s tate-owned port operators have entered into a joint venture agreement in a bid to revitalis e the domes tic carg o handling busines s . Each of the operators - Pelindo I, II, III and IV - will own a 25% s take in the Terminal Petikemas Indones ia joint venture. The venture, which has been des ig ned to offer container handling and other related services and is connected with the government's Nusantara Pendulum programme, is likely to help in reducing the price differential between the eastern and wes tern parts of the s prawling archipelago.
