Indonesia Oil & Gas Report Includes 10-Year Forecasts To 2026
Falling production against rising demand will see Indonesia become a larger importer of crude oil, refined fuels and natural gas (in the form of LNG) over our 10-year forecast period. Notably, diminishing gas supplies and subsequent pressure to exports will turn Indonesia into a net LNG importer for the first time by 2021. Realisation of the government's ambitious downstream expansion plans could significantly reduce its need for fuel imports, though projects remain exposed to significant funding and regulatory risks.
