Key Success Factors of Indonesia Pendulum from Logistics and Supply Chain Management Approaches

The Indonesia's  economic growth has developed in line with world economic  growth. This has  brought  increasing  in  Indonesia's  inter  islands  seaborne  trade.   In  the purpose to connecting  Indonesia's  regions (Sumatera,  Jawa, Kalimantan,  Sulawesi, and rest of the eastern  region), the Indonesia's  government  brought the concept  of Indonesia' Pendulum/Pendulum   Nusantara.  This  concept  may have to  believe  will improve Indonesia   economic   performance.   Nevertheless,   the   key   success   of Pendulum Nusantara also supported by the aspects on the availability of the logistics and  supply chain   management   factors/aspects.   This  is  because  the  pendulum service  may profoundly  as strategic  business decision  for shipping  company  in the way to improve their Liner network capacity based on hub and spoke arrangement.

Indonesia geographic  condition can be assumed as world reflection. The concept  of global  pendulum  roles effectively  with supported  by several aspects  of logistics  and supply  chain  management  such as increasing  world  number  of cargos,  enormous development  of vessels in capacity, huge investment in port and perfect port interconnection.  These aspects  become key success factors  for the pendulum  liner service. This research  has produced  some aspects  in comparing  those factors  with Indonesia's    logistics   and   supply   chain   management   conditions,    in   order   to generating   Indonesia's   Pendulum   to  underpin  the  economy   performance.   This research  has determined/identified  the support and challenge factors  base on those aspects in the way to succeed Indonesia's  Pendulum/Pendulum  Nusantara.
